I’ll have to renounce my previous post in light of the fact that Keller’s leftover senses would become hyper-powered, a la Daredevil – if she could smell where Frank was (she spent a year in a loft, she’d have to be RANK) and then lick her to ensure her identity, the brutality of the ass kicking would be epic.

I dunno.
Frank may have been a whiny bitch, but Keller is blind and deaf.
If Frank just hit-and-moved on Keller, she could win.
But if Keller got a hold of Frank- like, AT ALL- she’d maul her.

It’s the classic Chun Li / Blanka battle.

Seriously though, great post; sounds like a freaking blast. I wish I could manage to drag my ass to one of these things.

Oh, and Keller vs Frank? Well, Keller might have been blind and deaf but she could read, write and speak, so I think that kicking ass could easily be added to her repertoire. My money’s on her.

The “half an asscheek wide” chair PSA is the best thing I’ve read after that experience.

As for the ongoing saga, I’d have to imagine that Frank could just bludgen Helen Keller across the head with her typewriter a few times while Helen keeps signing “WA-TER” to summon Nazi Pokemon or something to help her (she was German, after all).

I went to a con Once, in Oakland.
Pretty cool, but was kind of bummed by the lack of costumes.
Being as it was the bay area- I think everyone was trying to look COOL as in the nomral context of it, and not COOL in the Con context.

Anyway, I love the Venture Brothers and am excited to see someone else on the planet digs it too.

Yeah, this blog layout was pretty much the only one that seemed remotely appropriate for Halloween. I’ve been trying to make a shitty MSPaint banner, but I have the graphic design skills of a blind infant, so it’s taking a long time.

I don’t know how big Heroes Con is, but Dragon*Con had over 30,000 people *last* year, and I’ve heard several people say that this year seemed like the biggest it’s ever been. There were several times I thought an escalator was going to eat me alive because I got to the top and there was no room to get off. I haven’t heard any official counts this year, but I’d wager the total was closer to 40,000. Rumor has it they’re even expanding next year, so it’ll be in five hotels instead of four. Hopefully that means a more diffuse crowd and thus a slight reduction in my personal rage level.
